Cotton
is not just cotton
It all starts with the cotton, which determines durability and quality. When it comes to cotton, it's incredibly simple. The longer the fibers, the better the quality. The longer the fibers, the longer the shirt lasts. The longer the fibers, the more comfortable it is to wear.
That's why we only use 100% organic extra-long staple Giza cotton from Egypt.
Only the top 0.1% of the world's cotton meets that standard.
Does yarn make you yawn?
Because it keeps us awake at night.
Fortunately, you can sleep soundly knowing that your shirt contains a very special and rare type of organic cotton, which you probably have never had a shirt made of before.
Scroll down and join us in Egypt, where you'll learn why only the best organic cotton is good enough.

Why Egypt?
To find the world's best cotton, we traveled to Egypt.
Along the Nile, there are some truly unique conditions that create the perfect environment for world-class organic cotton.
The natural water resource from the Nile allows us to produce without using synthetic pesticides or GMO seeds. This way, we help ensure a healthy biodiversity in the area.
Are you as picky about your cotton as you are about your red wine?
Because we are.
But the sad truth is that the textile industry generally hides where the cotton in your clothes specifically comes from.
Often, the cotton will be a large mix of different types and qualities from widely different areas.
We change that. For your shirt is produced with organic single origin Giza cotton. This means that we can specifically say, from harvest to harvest, exactly which areas east of Alexandria the cotton in your shirt comes from. Just like you know it from your wine.
CO2 Footprint
More shirt. Less impact.
The organic Giza cotton, grown in the fields along the Nile, is the key to ensuring that the shirt's total CO2 footprint is reduced by 44%.
The footprint per shirt is now down to between 2.9-3.9 kg, which is among the absolute lowest in our industry, and corresponds to the CO2 footprint of three to four liters of Danish milk. We have therefore taken a very big step, but we expect to reduce further in the future.
